The monthly update
So just to catch "everyone" up, here's what's going on writing-wise with me.
* I am now in a writing group. It's a spin-off (more Frasier than Joey hopefully) from the horror screenwriting class I took. Just a few of us from the class that felt like we "clicked" and enjoyed "talking shop." We've only had 2 meetings so far, but I'm pretty enthusiastic about the whole shebang.
* I've been receiving some really great feedback on FAMILY FIRST. Lots of helpful suggestions and some pretty nice encouragement from the writing group and friends. My plan is to fine-tune it and then submit it to contests (and maybe some managers and production companies?).
* Writing on BET ON BLOOD also proceeds on pace. I'd like to be more consistent with my daily writing (and maybe by typing this sentence I will be).
* Slightly unrelated to writing: I'm moving next weekend to a new apartment. Still in Brooklyn though.
