More Awesome Than Awesome

I haven't updated this thing in a long, longgggg time. Which probably says more about what my writing productivity has been like than I ever could with those word-things (i.e. not much). Between apartment problems, general laziness, and other assorted excuses, procrastination has been at an all-time high.

Hopefully that's all about to change. I have a lot of items on the writing agenda. Which I will now list. Hooray.

• Need to schedule meeting with my former screenwriting teacher about my 2 latest scripts (FAMILY FIRST and the 1st draft of BET ON BLOOD).

• Of course, I also need to install Final Draft on my NEW computer (yes, it's a Macbook. Yes, it's completely kickass). Hopefully that won't be a problem.

• There are a few contests I'd like to enter FAMILY FIRST in. After I talk with my teacher, of course. But I do think it's getting near that time to push my work out into the world.

• It'd really be nice if the writers' strike was over so that I could really push my scripts. Fingers crossed for a fair deal.

• And finally I need to write more of BET ON BLOOD. I need to do research for the script after that (BANQUET). I need to give the TV writing thing a stab. If only as a writing exercise. I need to get things straightened out with my writing group (since I've been uber-unreliable slacker for the past few months).

• Oh, and maybe I should try my hand at some short story writing. I've had a few ideas for a while. Probably need to do something with those....
